Plough Shear Mixer

Our plow mixer consists of a cylindrical drum, plow shears, feeding ports, a discharging port, and a driven unit. The plow shear or sloping blade is set on the main shaft. When the plough shear mixer is in operation, the special mixing structure ensures that the material to be mixed is mixed continuously. The dead corner is absolutely avoided under the simultaneous radial and longitudinal movement, thus high accuracy mixing effect is achieved.

Our plough shear mixer can be equipped with a heating or cooling jacket if temperature control is required. Besides, all of our powder mixers can tolerate about 10% liquid additives! We will add a spraying or atomizing unit inside the tank!

The material under the action of this plough mixer maintains the principle of turbulence. The plow-like shape of the agitator, combined with the stirring speed, produces centrifugal vortex motion, causing the stressed materials to diffuse three-dimensionally and merge. It is suitable for mixing dry powder, particles and small pieces, and low-viscosity slurries.
