Plough Mixer

 

 

The working process of the plough shear mixer is based on the synergistic effect of two types of agitators:
The function of the plough blade: Multiple plough blades installed on the spindle rotate with the spindle, causing radial circumferential turbulence of the material along the cylinder wall, forming a main convection cycle. The unique sloping structure of the plough blade can continuously push materials from both sides towards the center, forming efficient horizontal and vertical mixing.
The function of the flying choppers: When the material flows through the flying chopper group, the high-speed rotating flying knife (usually at a speed of 1440-2930 rpm) instantly cuts, breaks, and scatters the agglomerated material. This is crucial for handling fiber materials or situations where liquids need to be added.
The combination of plough blade convection and flying chopper shearing makes the plow blade mixer more efficient and evenly mixed compared to ordinary mixers.

 

 

 

Constituent Part	Function Description
Transmission part	Including motor and reducer, which transmit power to the coulter main shaft.
Horizontal cylinder	The main body containing the material can be designed with a jacket for heating or cooling.
Coulter set shaft	It is composed of coulter, coulter arm and main shaft, and is the core component that produces main body mixing.
Chopper group	Driven by an independent motor, it rotates at high speed to break agglomerated materials.
Discharge installation	Usually located at the bottom of the cylinder, pneumatic or manual valve gate is used to control the discharge.
Spray installation	(Optional) Used to evenly spray liquid components during the mixing process.

 

 

 

* Efficient and Uniform: The mixing speed is fast, usually reaching a high degree of uniformity within a few minutes, especially suitable for solid-liquid mixing (with liquid addition up to 20%).
* Good Dispersibility: High-speed flying knives can effectively crush agglomerated materials and solve the mixing problem of fiber or viscous materials.
* Flexible Application: Composite processes such as drying and granulation (capable of producing 0.3-3mm wet granules) can be achieved through the installation of jackets, spray devices, or vacuum systems.
* Stable and Durable: The plow blade can be made of surface hardening treatment or high-hardness materials, with strong wear resistance and long equipment life.
